The Badminton Club Lugano is active in Ticino since 1984. There are about 55 active members.
The club activity season, is exactly thesame as the school year, and the membership fees are as follows:
adults 150.-
adolescents, students, pensioners and unemployed 100.-

For beginners or those who want to try, you can come on Tuesday evening in Pregassona. The Club provides the necessary equipment.
There is a Swiss Federation of Badminton with which the club is not yet affiliated as we should participate at the Interclub tournament around Switzerland. However, we are affiliated with a sub-section which includes clubs in central Switzerland, this allows us to participate in various tournaments organized in this area and to be licensed. Every year, if the quorum is reached, we organize a recreational trip to the German part of Switzerland.
We organize two social afternoons each year, and in Spring it’s followed by the club members’ meeting.
