Our club
The Badminton Club Lugano, a member of the Swiss Badminton Federation of Central Switzerland (BVZ), was founded in 1984 by a group of friends passionate about this sport.
It was the first official club in Ticino, and since then other clubs have been founded, thanks in part to the club’s commitment to promoting badminton at events sponsored by the Municipality of Lugano, the Canton, and special events, not to mention the school environment, with events organized in agreement with school administrations.
Some members participate in official, licensed tournaments organized by other Swiss clubs, while others participate in amateur tournaments within the canton without a license. Anyone who wants to try and participate in our sporting activities is welcome.

Membership fees for the season following the school term:

Beginners or those who want to try can come to Pregassona on Tuesday evenings. The club provides the necessary equipment.
For those who would like to try, the cost is 30 francs for three evenings and if after the 3 evenings you decide to continue, the cost of the 30 francs will be deducted from the annual fee.
Starting from the 5th attendance, even if not consecutive, there is an obligation to pay the annual fee of 120 francs.
Depending on the proposals, we organise other activities outside of the scheduled evenings.
